Meet Our Team
-
Founder
Third Parent Family and Youth Services was birthed from my personal experience. My passion for community connectedness inspired me to pursue college and become certified in Community Health Work. It is through this work that my team and I are able to provide a variety of readily available resources. These resources range from job preparedness, case management, mentorship, driver license obtainment and much more. My goal as we grow as an organization is to be the resource hub I didn't have growing up.
Lead Volunteers
-
Riley is current serving as our Lead Volunteer and has been involved with Third Parent Family since
2020. She brings with her a degree in Women and Gender Studies, which influences her passion to
support the San Francisco community to navigate resources. Particularly, she is driven to support the
LGBT community, as well as those who have experienced domestic violence. Riley brings this desire for
service, and leads our volunteers to ensure their service and engagement is a positive experience. Her
experience in hospitality is a huge asset to both our volunteers, as well as our clients.
-
Todd discovered our organization by chance as we were setting up for our Saturday food pantry. He and
his family have been involved since 2020, pitching in with the food pantry delivering and picking up
goods. Todd believes strongly in being a catalyst for change and contributing to the betterment of the
San Francisco community. Third Parent Family strongly aligns with his values to see an improvement in
his home, and wishes to inspire others in the tech industry on ways in which to participate in this
movement. He is passionate about helping to provide a structure and operationally ensure that our
organization is able to be sustainable and continue to reach the needs of the community for the long
run. He brings to us vast experience in corporate leadership and program development.

Rachel brings to us many experiences working with various food pantries, and has been volunteering
with us since 2021, inspired by our grassroots response to need during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is
inspired by our Third Parent Family’s unique connection to the community, and our willingness to
personally care for our clients on a case-by-case basis. She brings to us a background and passion for
non-profit management that is catered with a direct connection and awareness of the needs of the
community. She is assisting to establish and organize our organization by providing measurable data of
our success, while ensuring that we continue to uphold our mission. Her experience working with non-
profits and in the environmental field are of great value to Third Parent Family.
